CFB DraftKings Cash & Single Entry: November 26

Happy Thanksgiving! I’m pumped we have two main slates this week!

This Friday slate has some really fun RB options, but several question marks at QB and WR. Is Brock Purdy a lock versus TCU? Who is our second QB on this slate? Which two RBs should we play between Breece Hall, Deuce Vaughn, and Tyler Badie? Which Eastern Michigan WR do we choose: Hassan Beydoun or Tanner Knue? Who is our punt play this week at WR?

Let’s dig in…

Against the Spread Picks

Iowa (-1.5) vs Nebraska
South Florida (+18.5) vs Central Florida
Kansas State (+3.0) vs Texas

Total Wagers

TCU vs Iowa State (Under 59.0)
Cincinnati vs East Carolina (Over 58.0)
Kansas State vs Texas (Over 52.5)

Quarterbacks

Desmond Ridder, Cincinnati vs East Carolina (DK: $9.7K | FD: $11.0K | O/U: 58.0 | Implied: 36.0)

Desmond Ridder is by far the best QB option with surprisingly few options for a 12-game slate. Ridder is playing his best football of the year over the last two weeks with his two highest scoring outputs of the season, 41.06 and 35.96 FPs. If you are looking for a QB with massive upside on the slate, Ridder is your guy. This East Carolina DEF is ranked 29th in QB FPG (18.7) and 61st in PASS YPG (225.5). However, East Carolina has had the 87th hardest schedule to date. The toughest QB they faced this season was Memphis QB, Seth Henigan, who scored 29.75 FPs. Ridder is set up for another huge week.

Brock Purdy, Iowa State vs TCU (DK: $6.6K | FD: $8.5K | O/U: 59.0 | Implied: 37.0)

Brock Purdy is one of the better value plays at QB on the slate. He is priced at $6.6K and is facing a poor TCU defense. This TCU DEF is ranked 84th in QB FPG (23.7), 83rd in PASS YPG (237.7) and 125th in PASS YPA (9.4). Over the last 6 weeks, this defense is giving up an average of 27.1 FPG to opposing QBs. I love Purdy’s price point and opportunity to exceed value on this slate.

Ben Bryant, Eastern Michigan vs Central Michigan (DK: $6.3K | FD: $8.4K | O/U: 64.0 | Implied: 27.75)

Prior to last week, Ben Bryant and the Eastern Michigan pass attack had been humming. Over the previous three weeks, Bryant averaged 331.3 PASS YPG and 2 TDs per game for 24.5 FPG. The Central Michigan DEF is ranked 96th in QB FPG (25.1), 116th in PASS YPG (270.4) and 115th in PASS YPA (8.5). Bryant is a great cheaper option on this slate with great stacking options in Hassan Beydoun and Tanner Knue.

Alternatives:

Kurtis Rourke, Ohio vs Bowling Green (DK: $6.5K | FD: $9.2K | O/U: 48.5 | Implied: 27.25)

Will Howard, Kansas State vs Texas (DK: $5.6K | FD: $9.2K | O/U: 52.5 | Implied: 24.75)

Timmy McClain, South Florida vs Central Florida (DK: $5.2K | FD: $6.3K | O/U: 62.0 | Implied: 21.75)

Running Backs

Deuce Vaughn, Kansas State vs Texas (DK: $9.1K | FD: $10.0K | O/U: 52.5 | Implied: 24.75)

Deuce Vaughn has been electric this entire season as one of the most versatile players in college football. Vaughn is averaging 21.4 touches, including 4.1 receptions, and 142.5 yards per game for 29.7 FPG. He has scored 20-plus FPs in all but one game this season including six games of 30-plus FPs. He faces a Texas DEF ranked 107th in RB FPG (28.0). Vaughn is a must in our Cash/SE (single-entry lineups) this week.

Tyler Badie, Missouri vs Arkansas (DK: $8.7K | FD: $9.2K | O/U: 62.5 | Implied: 24.0)

Tyler Badie has a very similar versatile skill set to Deuce Vaughn, but he has been even more productive. Badie is averaging 25.5 touches, including 4.8 receptions, and 157.1 yards per game for 31.2 FPG. He has scored 25-plus FPs in all but two games this year. This Arkansas DEF is ranked 49th in RB FPG (19.9), 65th in RUSH YPG (147.6) and 57th in RUSH YPA (3.88). Badie has been putting up these gaudy numbers regardless of competition so you can feel confident inserting him into your lineup, even at $8.7K.

Dominique Johnson, Arkansas vs Missouri (DK: $4.7K | FD: $6.3K | O/U: 62.5 | Implied: 38.5)

Dominique Johnson has been the RB1 for Arkansas since week 10, averaging 17.9 FPG. A former Missouri commit, Johnson might have a little extra motivation this week. As we have discussed several times this year, this Missouri defense is absolutely terrible against the run. They are ranked 127th in RB FPG (36.4), 125th in RUSH YPG (235.36) and 122nd in RUSH YPA (5.52). Johnson is a lock to hit value versus Missouri this week at only $4.7K.

Alternatives:

Breece Hall, Iowa State vs TCU (DK: $9.3K | FD: $10.8K | O/U: 59.0 | Implied: 37.0)

Tavion Thomas, Utah vs Colorado (DK: $8.5K | FD: $10.2K | O/U: 52.5 | Implied: 38.0)

Johnny Richardson, Central Florida vs South Florida (DK: $5.9K | FD: $6.1K | O/U: 62.0 | Implied: 40.25)

$4.5K-or-less options:

Raheim Sanders, Arkansas vs Missouri (DK: $4.2K | FD: $5.2K | O/U: 62.5 | Implied: 38.5)

Rahjai Harris, Cincinnati vs East Carolina (DK: $3.7K | FD: $6.0K | O/U: 58.0 | Implied: 22.0)

Receivers

Hassan Beydoun, Eastern Michigan vs Central Michigan (DK: $6.6K | FD: $8.3K | O/U: 64.0 | Implied: 27.75)
Tanner Knue, Eastern Michigan vs Central Michigan (DK: $5.7K | FD: $7.9K | O/U: 64.0 | Implied: 27.75)

Hassan Beydoun or Tanner Knue should definitely be in your lineup this week. Choosing between the two will largely be decided by your salary restraints. Beydoun is having a phenomenal season, averaging 7.8 catches and 78.2 YPG for 17.8 FPG. Knue came back from injury three weeks ago, averaging 7 catches for 79 yards for 17.9 FPG.

The Central Michigan DEF is ranked 128th in WR FPG (33.2), 116th in PASS YPG (270.4) and 115th in PASS YPA (8.5). Both WRs should have a field day in this one. I prefer Knue, because he is almost $1K cheaper so that allows me to fit in the higher-priced RBs I like on this slate.

JaCorey Sullivan, Central Michigan vs Eastern Michigan (DK: $5.2K | FD: $8.5K | O/U: 64.0 | Implied: 36.25)

JaCorey Sullivan has been so consistent for Central Michigan this year hitting double-digit FPs in every game. He is averaging 4.75 catches and 69.8 yards per game along with 8 TDs for 18.5 FPs. He has a TD in every game, but one this year. The Eastern Michigan DEF is ranked 110th in WR FPG (28.7), 87th in PASS YPG (240.5) and 90th in PASS YPA (7.7). At 5.2K, Sullivan is my favorite Cash/SE (single-entry) WR on the slate.

Josh Whyle, Cincinnati vs East Carolina (DK: $3.7K | FD: $5.9K | O/U: 58.0 | Implied: 36.0)

Josh Whyle has been up and down all season. Over the last five games alone, he has three games scoring 17-plus FPs and two games scoring 1.0 FPs or less. Normally, I would not consider such a volatile player in Cash/SE (single-entry) contests, but the cheaper punt options are really slim on the slate. Whyle is the receiving option I trust the most of the $4.5K or less options. USF WR Jimmy Horn Jr. is another player to consider in the same price range, but he is also pretty volatile.

Alternatives:

Ryan O’Keefe, Central Florida vs South Florida (DK: $6.9K | FD: $8.6K | O/U: 62.0 | Implied: 40.25)

$4.5K-or-less options:

Jimmy Horn Jr., South Florida vs Central Florida (DK: $3.6K | FD: $4.5K | O/U: 62.0 | Implied: 21.75)
