Prior to his current position at Fantasy Points, Barrett worked full-time as PFF’s Senior Fantasy Analyst. It was here Barrett wrote 250-plus articles per season, spending a great deal of time digging deep into some of the best, most predictive, and most advanced statistics in football – metrics used by actual NFL teams. Because of this, he is perfectly equipped to tell you what matters most, what’s most predictive, and what’s just noise in the game of fantasy football.
In addition to inventing a number of valuable and now commonly-used metrics in the fantasy space, Barrett also authored popular article series such as Metrics That Matter, Scott Barrett’s Daily Fantasy Focus, 96 Stats to Know, The Expected Fantasy Points Report, The Bell Cow Report, Advanced Matchup Plays, and more. He was also formerly the co-host of the Power Hour Podcast and the Chalk Talk Podcast, and before that was a writer for numberFire.com.
He’s still a longtime New York Giants season ticket holder, though he currently resides in Houston, Texas.
